Overview

The 2021 Junior Footy Stars Program will kick off at Victoria Park on Sunday October 17 at Victoria
Park (former home of Collingwood FC and current home of Collingwood AFLW). The launch will run
from 12pm – 2pm and will be led by current Frankston VFL Coach Danny Ryan. We have other guest
coaches who will be there on the day, and these will be announced shortly.

Structure of the day:

1. Welcome and Introduction into the 2021 Stars Off Season Program/warm up

2. 3 x 30 mins stations focusing on key skill development activities

3. 15 mins Q and A with the guest coaches

 

Danny Ryan:

We are thrilled to have Danny on board for the launch of the 2021 Stars Off Season Program. Danny
has worked at all levels of footy. From grassroots to school, VFL to AFL, Danny has done it all. Having
worked for North Melbourne, Port Adelaide and StKilda in a number of development roles as well as
keeping a close eye on talented players passing through the Sandringham Dragons TAC Cup system
on the way to playing AFL, Danny’s experience in Australian Rules Football is second to none. We are
extremely lucky to secure the services of Danny Ryan and Danny can’t wait to meet you all at
Victoria Park on October 17.
